The foundation for Onsa Refinery was laid down with the pilot premises founded by the support of TÜBİTAK ,the Turkish Research and Development Organization and the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV) in 2005. Research was conducted among established refineries in EU countries and elsewhere with regard to the target established for environment friendly premises, in addition to the quality in the product and services prior to the commissioning of Onsa Refinery in 2006.Short while after Onsa Refinery’s incorporation, it was certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Working on the project to be a company that made a difference right from first day of incorporation, Onsa Refinery continues its diligence in refining all kinds of waste and emissions, via chemicals and gas purification systems. Purifying the waste and residue as well as bullion of various purities generated in the course of the production of jewelry by performing processes with aqua regia and/or quartering method, Onsa Refinery is able to produce gold and silver with a purity of up to 99.95 – 99.99%. Besides, recovering polishing solutions, washing waters, dry-wet leveling solutions, polishing solutions, electrolyte coating solutions, wastes, used pots, slag and wastes, Onsa Refinery conducts its operation at the production level of 130 tons of gold and 130 tons of silver annually.
Providing customers with pure gold produced witha 995 mils base and 1-kg bullion, Onsa Refinery is also able to produce 995 and 916 mil-gram gold. Distinguished by its ambitious target in the market thanks to its laboratory infrastructure and expert employees, Onsa Refinery continues to perform analysis of gold and other noble materials in the form of solid waste, solution or bullion, thanks to the ICP, XRF and Titration analyzers.
Kilobar and grams of , gold and silver produced by Onsa Refinery are accepted by all banks, equity houses, authorized Mints and the General Directorate of Stamps in Turkey. Having established a legal infrastructure for international commerce an refining of gold and silver , Onsa Refinery aims to initiate having access to the consumer directly by the production of gold bullion, as well as gold-silver grams upon start of the sale of gold and silver processed by Onsa Refinery via Istanbul Stock Exchange.
Under “Special Authorization for Gauge House” certificate to be issued by Mints and General Directorate of Stamp, Onsa Refinery is about to be leading organization in its market, thanks to its authority in performing analysis and issue expertise report on precious minerals and stones.
